Mammy Doll

1930’s doll made from large sock or stocking. She is exquisite in her overall appearance. Her facial features are created with colored threads, hair is yarn. Her nose and ears have been created with stitching so that they stand away from her head. Loop earrings hang from her ears. She is very well dressed in a peasant dress, apron with lace, petticoat with lace and elastic waist bloomers with the same matching lace as her petticoat. Her high top felt shoes have laces on them. *tiny hole in stocking near one eye.
