Our Favorite Vintage Stores: LA Edition

We have always been proud curators of all things vintage in our home. Whether it is a small vase, or 1960’s floor lamps, or even a classic sofa, vintage items often make a home feel lived-in and warm. Los Angeles, in particular, has a lot of great stores that feature one-of-a-kind pieces from designers all over the world. Below are some of our favorite spots, and with the holidays coming up a home decor item that has history sounds like the perfect gift.

Badlands Vintage

Badlands is an icon here in LA. The store is curated and styled with thought and care. The store isn’t cluttered and offers a fresh perspective to really see pieces finished and with clarity.

The Hunt Vintage

If you are looking for pieces that can be refinished or turned into something unique with a fair price point, The Hunt is your store. The owner is amazing, has an interesting collection of pieces, and knows his furniture history.

Sunbeam Vintage

A not-so-hidden gem in Highland Park, Sunbeam Vintage is uniquely curated by a bright female owned soul. She brings new pieces in all the time, has a decent selection of vintage pieces, but also creates unique handmade pieces, and mixes modern art with vintage art. The store itself is incredible with huge exposed ceilings, curated little rooms, and three main areas of shopping.

Vintage On Point

A great selection of case-goods and fun original pieces. They offer reupholstery for some pieces and also create their own unique pieces as well. They are always updating their Instagram with new pieces and I’m usually able to find a great piece for a project.
